Feature · Reach out today

Know who to follow up with, every morning.

Reach out today is the list at the top of your SignalBox dashboard. Each morning it shows the people who are due to hear from you, so keeping in touch takes a few minutes instead of a good memory.

How SignalBox decides who is due

Every contact sits in one or more circles, such as clients, prospects or partners. Each circle has a rhythm, like every 14 days or every 30 days. When you log an email, call, meeting or message, the next follow-up date is set from that rhythm.

If someone is in more than one circle, the shortest rhythm wins, so nobody slips through the gap between two groups. You can also set a date by hand for any one person.

What you see each morning

  • Everyone due today, plus anyone overdue and by how many days.
  • A relationship health grade beside each name.
  • Your last note about them, so you pick up exactly where you left off.
  • One click to their LinkedIn profile, a LinkedIn message, an email or a quick log.

From “I should” to “I did”

Most people know they should keep in touch. The hard part is remembering who, and when. Reach out today does the remembering for you. A few people, most mornings, is enough to keep a whole network warm.

Works with the rest of SignalBox

  • Email them from SignalBox through your own Gmail, and their reply lands on their timeline.
  • Connect SignalFeed and everyone due also appears as a feed on LinkedIn, where a comment on their latest post counts as the follow-up.
  • Ask Claude who is due this week through the SignalBox MCP server.

Questions

Is Reach out today the same as a task list?

No. A task list only holds the jobs you remember to create. Reach out today is worked out for you from each circle’s rhythm and the last time you were in touch, so the list builds itself.

What happens if I miss a day?

Nothing is lost. Anyone you did not get to stays on the list, marked as overdue, until you get in touch or move their date.

Can I set a follow-up date for one person?

Yes. Set any date on their page and it takes priority over the circle’s rhythm until you next log contact with them.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. On a phone, SignalBox opens a follow-up list made for small screens, so you can log a coffee or a call on the go.
