Terms of Service
Effective date: 2 October 2026
About these terms
These terms cover your use of SignalBox: the web application at signalboxcrm.com, its mobile view, and the SignalBox CRM: Save Contacts Chrome extension. SignalBox is made by DiscoveryCo. In these terms “we” and “us” mean SignalBox, and “you” means the person or business using it. By creating an account or using SignalBox you agree to these terms.
Private beta
SignalBox is in private beta. It is free to use during the beta, and features may change, be added or be removed as we learn what works. We will do our best to keep it running smoothly, but during the beta we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Access is by invitation, and we may pause or end beta access at our discretion.
If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
Your account
You need an account to use SignalBox. Keep your sign-in details and any API keys private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account and your organisation's workspace, including the actions of anyone you invite to it.
Your data
The contacts, notes, deals and other information you put into SignalBox belong to you. You give us permission to store and process it only so that we can provide SignalBox to you. We do not sell it or use it for anything else. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
The people you keep in SignalBox have rights over their personal data too. For the contact details you store, you decide what is kept and why, so you are responsible for having a lawful reason to keep them and for respecting those people's wishes, for example if someone asks you to delete their details.
You can export your contacts from Settings at any time, and delete your account and its data from Settings, Account.
Using SignalBox fairly
Please don't use SignalBox to:
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages
- store or share anything unlawful, or data you have no right to hold
- harass, deceive or impersonate anyone
- try to access other people's accounts or data, or test, probe or disrupt the service
- copy, resell or reverse engineer SignalBox, or build a competing product from it
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Other services
SignalBox works alongside services run by other companies, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Gmail, Outlook, MailerLite, Book Like a Boss and SignalFeed. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and it is up to you to follow them. We are not responsible for those services, for changes they make, or for them becoming unavailable.
Our work
SignalBox, including its software, design, name and logo, belongs to us. These terms give you the right to use it for your own business while your account is open; they do not transfer any ownership. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve SignalBox without owing you anything for them.
Closing your account
You can stop using SignalBox and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may close accounts that break these terms, or end the service, and if we end the service we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your data first.
Liability
SignalBox is provided as it is, especially during the beta. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which during the free beta is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
SignalBox helps you keep in touch, but the decisions you make and the messages you send are your own. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as SignalBox develops. If we make a material change we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, tell you by email. Continuing to use SignalBox after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
